COVID-19

King Abdullah Academy is doing everything possible to ensure that our students and staff remain safe and healthy. We have implemented many policies such as: in school COVID testing, handwashing, mask wearing, 3-6 ft spacing between students, frequent sanitizing, and requiring parents to keep children home when they are sick or have ANY Covid symptoms. We highly recommend and encourage all children 12 and older to get the COVID-19 vaccination.

We are working closely with the Fairfax County Health Department and will continue to submit all positive cases of staff and students; our protocols are based off their guidance.

When your child is absent due to illness:
If your child has symptoms, YOU MUST KEEP THEM HOME. When calling/emailing us about your child’s absence, please notify attendance and the nurse of the reason/symptoms for their absence (stomachache, fever, cough etc.)
